ABOUT THE PROJECT

Friends of the Children is a Detroit -based organization dedicated to impacting generational change by empowering youth in the foster system through relationships with professional mentors. For their annual donor gala, they wanted an 8’ x 12’ backdrop that reflected nurturing of the next generation and change through natural materials, specifically preserved moss. This backdrop had a second use as an art piece in their offices after the gala.
