AKA JET
Independent Feature Film
ROLE: Art Director (Art Department Head)
DURATION: 1 month
ABOUT THE PROJECT
AKA Jet was a time traveling feature film that transported its main characters back to the 1960s, at the height of Beatlemania. The film took place at over 20 locations including the Cavern Club, where the Beatles played their first televised concert in the 1960s. For this project, I was in charge of designing and overseeing the construction of the Cavern Club, a bedroom, cafe, and antiques shop that will are being built on a stage. Additionally, with such a small crew, I also gathered, built, or rented all the props needed as well as coordinated the picture cars. The project was never completed, but some of the set designs were fully realized before the production shut down.
