River and State was commissioned by the ICOA Chamber Orchestra in honor of the 125th anniversary of Antonin Dvorak’s 9th Symphony, From the New World, and premiered at the Bohemian National Hall in NYC. The accompanying composition is Dvorshock by Bruce Adolphe – also commissioned by the ICOA.
